I have always known that Google is cool and all its projects are great too. This time the company has announced a global Science Fair for children between 13-18 from anywhere in the world. Here is a list of advantages you get when you join Google Science Fair campaign:

this initiative erases all the geographical boundaries in the world. Children from all over the world can participate in the competition;
there is no entry fee, so you can participate absolutely for free;
entry rules are very simple – you need access to the internet, a computer and parental consent … and your unique and creative project;
a great possibility to make the headlines for the first time. Who knows, may be someone really important and powerful will notice you and your project?!
a fantastic way to learn something new and try to understand what you can do on your own or together with your friends;
an opportunity to get a juicy award;

Hurricane Katrina made a mess out of New Orlean … The situation was really terrible and devastating. One of the most difficult tasks was rebuilding of the ruined city.

One part of the process was restoration of the old cypress trees in City Park and its New Orleans Botanical Garden.

Here comes an example of American love to nature and possibility to make great things with minimum money.

Philips Design’s ‘Food Probe’

I am ready to bet you have been dreaming eat healthy food without any pesticides and genetically modified elements, then you should have a closer look at the following “food probe.”

The probe was created by Philips Design. It looks like a giant glass fridge with a large number of shelves to store your food. BTW, you are welcome to keep here everything – from the greens to meat.

The probe consists of 3 parts, each of them destined to make its own task. The designer is not very optimistic about the time it will take this product to spread.

Thanks to the Whirlpool and Elmar the rules of beautiful and green kitchens have already changed. Nowadays, kitchens should be not only stylish and nice but green as well. I mean it. Such a kitchen should let you feel yourself closer to nature – if needed. For example, there was a great concept at the Milan Furniture Fair, that has all the necessary features of a green kitchen: energy efficiency, eco-friendliness, and amazing design.
