I am extremely glad to announce that wood is making a great comeback as a perfect source of green fuel. I perfectly understand such exclamations as: it can’t be true and what about the smoke and the carbon dioxide emissions?

Experts at the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) have already proved that such questions are nothing else but nonsense. Since wood when burned always releases only the exact amount of carbon dioxide it has absorbed when growing. So wood can’t change climate and can’t make any harm as well.

The only one recommendation we are welcome to give you – find out the calorific values of woods before burning them. For instance, oak is a perfect burning material, it provides a lot of energy and conifers are the worst, they provide less heat.
