Robots have already become an integral part of our lives – they are everywhere and they can do almost everything instead of us: teach students, sing songs, take roll call, and now you are welcome robot gardeners.

robot

Students and researchers at MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory have just introduced their new creation – a robot-gardener that is capable of planting tomatoes. The most important option – the following creature doesn’t need people for help. It can do everything on its own. Such a robot performs specific plant operations just based on the sensor feedback from plants. Fantastic, isn’t it?

All robots are equipped with watering pumps and specials instruments to pick small tomatoes. Would you like to buy such a cutie?

Bernardes + Jacobsen are really amazing architects! Their work is inspiring, and their projects are just like the Brazil's tropical way of life. Knowing a little more about their job is really worth!
