Thanks to some really creative people we are welcome to enjoy such projects as this gorgeous plaza near the wharf of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The following plaza not only looks amazing but perfectly shows the connection between the ocean and the ecosystems existing on the Canary islands. This building was designed by Herzog + de Meuron, and it introduces incredible green space for those who adore gardens and everything about them.

According to the history many years ago the plaza was the site of a “Castillo,” and right now it still looks like the old castle. The most amazing element of the building is a green roof that makes most people draw their jaw and leaves them with their mouths slightly agape. The roof is bursting with vegetation.

The basin is rather shallow with a fountain in the middle.
