Pooktre is first of all an art. It is the art of gently shaping trees while they grow in order to get the predetermined design. This idea came to Peter in 1986 and in 9 years he met Becky and they created Pooktre.

The following process is really time-consuming and slow. They have waited for years in order to achieve the result. But those trees are truly fantastic. Most artists think that Peter Cook and Becky Northey will never let the cat of the bag and they will never tell their technique to the rest of the world.

They use numerous tree species and claim that all kind of trees have their own quirks but it is possible to understand them.
