The Pros and Cons of Organic Gardening

Organic is such a popular word nowadays, everything from food to houses tends to be organic … Organic products are expensive and prestigious and all of us seem to die to get such a garden, but find out pros and cons of such gardening before actually trying to create it:

Organic garden

PROS:

  • it is possible to make your own compost;
  • such fruits and vegetables contain no chemicals and are absolutely safe to eat;
  • you won’t kill benefits insects like ladybugs living in your garden, because you don’t use pesticides;
  • your soil will always stay in a perfect condition thus ensuring on-going fertility.

So such a garden seem to be a the best decision ever, but everything is not that great and you are welcome to find more about …

CONS:

  • try to make your own compost and you will understand how time-consuming and difficult it is. What is more, you have to know how to do it and to read tons of literature before actually making;
  • unbelievingly, but it is true, some organic fertilisers like hoof can work out more expensive than chemicals;
  • you have to learn a  lot before starting to create such a garden.
