Blenheim Palace belongs to Britain’s Greatest Palaces and it attracts thousands of visitors every day. The palace offers a wonderful pastime for its visitors because it offers not only mind-blowing nature landscapes but amazing interior that is filled with treasures and intrigues. The palace is a completely magical and royal place, that boasts gardens in a variety of styles.
Blenheim Palace was built for the National Hero John 1st Duke of Marlborough and it was a gift from Queen Anne for his military services. The palace itself is a great example of English Baroque architecture. Almost every room in the following palace has its own style and ceiling. Many fine family portraits cover its numerous walls.
But as to me park and gardens at Blenheim deserve our undivided attention because namely they serves as a majestic formal setting for the Palace. The gardens were built in a completely international style, because here we can enjoy some features of formal French gardens, the formality of the Italian Garden and the mind-blowing English Water Terraces.
There is a myriad of rare trees and shrubs in the garden, also you can enjoy the whole beauty of garden while riding on the miniature train linking the Palace with the Pleasure Gardens.
