Christmas is coming and there are a couple of weeks for it to bring us joy and some people are so careless not to think of presents. It seems to me they have never seen empty stores and they have never left their friends and relatives without gifts. In order not be involved into the risk group, think of buying presents beforehand, especially when you are going to get gardening books.

  • American Landscapes of the Country Place Era by Robin Karson

This book can be called the most important one on American gardens for a decade since it offers urgent and interesting topic which haven’t been touched upon before. It shows us how everything has started and the way it developed … It describes us the time when the Goodyear tyre company has appeared and how Seiberling’s wife hosted her famous “Shakespearean” evenings. The book tells a lot about gardens, their styles and growing tips. It is exactly the book all gardeners must read.

  • Encounters with Exceptional People by Diana Ross

This amazing book consists of interviews with 20 leading gardeners and people who worked in their gardens, meet: Roy Lancaster, Beth Chatto, Dan Pearson and other gardeners of the century. Enjoy blistering prose and tips how to get the coolest garden ever.

  •  The Gardens at Kew by Allen Paterson

It is a kind of a big and long coffee-table book devoted to the Royal Botanic Gardens. In the book you are welcome to find the hottest secrets from leading gardeners of the century, as well as exciting and useful moments from the history of the landscape and its buildings.
