Garden tips

Although a lot of gardeners cam thing that there is nothing to do in winter and they can have some rest from their garden, it is not true. Here is a list of tips that will help you to organize an amazing winter garden:

Gardening is a year round activity.

Watering: water the plant you live in soil (for example, evergreens) before the cold months strike;

Brush the snow and ice: take care of your shrubs and trees and help them to get rid of ice and snow – cover them with dead leaves and so. Remove the broken limbs removed as soon as the weather permits.

Orders seeds in time: if you like ordering seeds from a catalog, then you’d better make your mind by the end of January.

Firewood: don’t keep firewood in the house because insects can come in with firewood.

Outdoor Living: Cedar Pergola
by Bill from Outdoor Living Furniture
Pergolas are a great and easy way to drastically change the look of your yard or patio. I have seen many that have even been placed directly next to a back door and completely redirected the focal point of the Outdoor Living Furniture area. Nice show case!
