To my mind gathering around such a table can be rather warm and very interesting … The table is a handmade one and it is an amazing combination of passion for the environment and great designs.

The table consists of four potted table legs attached to a recycled English oak top. I love the fact that each leg is hand bent.

Alma (“Soul”) table was created by Brazilian designer Roberta Rampazzo and it has everything to be named one of the greatest and coolest tables ever made. The table boasts a really simple, yet original appearance.

Are you ready to meet the garden-inspired project that is called the Metamorphosis Bookshelf?! As to me, it is one of the most beautifully bizarre bookcases you have ever met. Apart from great looks this piece of furniture was created from limited edition Baltic birch plywood shelf which is very rare.

What a practical and cool set!

The bench was made without any sketches or final drawing in mind. The roughly chopped log seats were combined with hand-sewn upholstery. The bench was inspired by the long-standing tradition of logger sports.

When creating the bench the designers simply selected a log that roughly matched the one they had in mind and transformed this piece of wood into a fantastic and even luxurious bench.

Next The Practice of Everyday Design hired a professional Lumberjill. It is reported that the Log Chop Bench will be auctioned off at the Stellar Living 2011 Contemporary Art & Design Auction for Mercer Union in Toronto, Ontario, on May 12, 2011.

Apart from its distinctive and awesome look this tent serves a number of other useful functions.
