I love this bean – it is a great substitute for a garden until your garden is covered with snow or it is too cold to work in it. Each bean has a word lasered onto one side and it grows and it has a message. So, just for $19 you get fantastic plant with a lesson to learn or follow.

Everything your recipient has to do is simply pull off the foil top and bottom piece, and adds some water to the soil.

Gardening is a year round activity.

Watering: water the plant you live in soil (for example, evergreens) before the cold months strike;

Brush the snow and ice: take care of your shrubs and trees and help them to get rid of ice and snow – cover them with dead leaves and so. Remove the broken limbs removed as soon as the weather permits.

Orders seeds in time: if you like ordering seeds from a catalog, then you’d better make your mind by the end of January.

Firewood: don’t keep firewood in the house because insects can come in with firewood.

Winter is on the threshold and as a keen gardener you should try your best to make your garden ready to meet it.

Be very careful and be attentive to cover all wind-sensitive evergreens. Such shrubs as yews, dwarf Alberta (white) spruce, rhododendrons or azaleas need your protection as well. Cover them with dust or bark. If snow covers more than just a few centimetres – be very lavish while protecting your plants;
If there are roses in your garden, insulate them with topsoil;
Make natural compost. Put all the remnants of your plants in one bin … and let them have some rest. For example, till the spring.

Well, well, well, I am ready to bet, any artist would like to have such a tree growing in a garden. The Tree of Life is situated in Florida Disney Park and you can spend hours while looking at tit. The tree is really mind-blowing and very impressive. It was sculpted by more than a dozen artists and it contains approximately 325 animal carvings on the outside.

This tree is one of the hottest part attraction and sightseeing. This 140-foot artificial tree is the centerpiece of Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park.

The most interesting part – this masterpiece looks completely normal from a distance. Just a bit stubby, well! But after a closer inspection, everything you’ll be able to say is only - “Wow”, how creative some artists can be. Enjoy!

A lot of people ask me why I love gardening, I always start explaining them, giving all my pros and strong sides of this activity but a couple of days ago I decided to write the following guide and explain everybody around how amazing gardening is:

gardening has much in common with sport, since all this digging, planting, watering and pruning helps you to stay fit and healthy. It is reported that 30 minutes of active gardening burns up to 280 calories;
gardening is great for your soul. Gardening is a peaceful and cheap way to get rid of negative emotions and calm don after a hard day;
planting your own vegetables and fruits you’ll always know what you are eating. So gardening is extremely positive and helpful;
gardening is a popular hobby so you can find a lot of friends and join any garden community;
plants create cool, fresh and clean air, so while planting something you make a lifelong investment that will make you and your children healthier in the course of time;
gardening is a very catching and exciting process, it develops your personality and helps you to understand how important plants and nature are.

Even if you are a capable gardener, please be very attentive and don’t forget to:

protect your skin with sunblock and special gloves;
wear a hat, otherwise you can be badly damaged with sun warmth;
drink enough water to stay hydrated during working in the garden;
don’t forget to stretch your arms and legs!
