The bricks were designed by four teams of students in the Master of Interior Architecture & Retail Design program at the Piet Zwart Institute, Rotterdam.

According to the designers the Brick Biotope has a dual function, as a brick, and as a home for house sparrows. You can easily built them into urban spaces.

Last Sunday was the first official Steve Jobs day and Montreal-based artist Olivier Lefebvre honored the Apple co-founder in a very unique way he creates a portrait made from real apples.

To my mind, there were a lot of really great way to show to the rest of the world all our admiration and respect to Steve Jobs, but Olivier Lefebvre’s organic portrait is the most impressive.

They say that the Canadian artist arranged 3,750 apples to depict the face of Apple’s charismatic co-founder, in the town of Mont-Saint-Hilaire, Quebec.
