Flat Packables is the name of a Tokyo-based company that creates all kinds of awesome “flat-packable” items that are both fun and easy to assemble. Today I would love to present you the Fin Vase.

The Fin Vase is made of laser cut Japanese Lime plywood that is then sanded and polished by hand with natural beeswax. The piece looks cool and nice, and it is composed of ten curved pieces, two rings.

The test tube’s inner dimensions are roughly 15mm in diameter and 160mm long so it will easily hold wide range of flowers. It comes in a Flat Packables’ original gift box with an instruction!

I am a huge lover of all these eco friendly designs, they are always so fun and unusual, just like the following Primavera vase that will be a perfect companion to any garden flower.

This vase is simply a silhouette that fits a standard water bottle instead of a glass vase to hold a single flower.

When buying such a vase you take care of our nature and ecology because you don’t throw out your used bottle, make it a part of a lovely vase.

Primavera Vase is a cool vase frame and it comes in various colors and helps recycle plastic bottles. This vase is made of metal.

They say that now you can recycle one or three 0,5 liter plastic bottles. The vases come in black, white and red colors and cost $34.99.

What do you think about these elegant vases? Cool?!

Just one look at the project and you do understand how simple everything great is. According to the author, his works explore the theme of ‘seeking new balance’ in materials, techniques and forms.

I am in love with the following vases collection by Japanese designer Yukihiro Kaneuchi. He managed to create this elegant new piece of work called ‘Sand’ simply from sand and resin.

According to the author, he takes inspiration from the game ‘Bou-Toshi’, and created a series of awesome vases made of sand and resin.

The game of Bou-Toshi is rather simple. Players make a heap of sand and place a pole in the centre and then they start removing sand and the one who causes the pole to fall, is the one who loses.

Despite the fact the game seems to be rather primitive but it has been played for centuries. So Yukihiro Kaneuchi is the one who made the game immortal and turned it into the series of vases.

The vase looks rather fragile and at the same time very solid, its simplicity is striking. I would love to have such a thing at home and put my garden flowers there!

The vase is made in a form of anatomical heart piece and it boasts some awesome openings for single flowers.

From my mind, the main idea behind this vase is to show to the rest of the world that the idea of giving flowers to a person is often a sign of love and devotion, so that sounds great to display the flowers in a holder like the Flower Pump Vase.

It goes without saying that from scientific and biological points of view this vase can be a bit whimsical, it is still has some air of reality. The following vase was created by Veneri Design Studio.

Have a look at this vase and it will really impress you. I love this open silhouette design because it is different from the most closed vases. This design gives you a feeling of airiness. Each vase is made of anodized aluminum. The Esher vase is available in black, silver, blue and green.

I like his final project that is a series of vessels called Weight Vases.

It seems to me these vases will look great with any flowers from your garden. And when vases are that great … The simple idea of a vase is to hold flowers, but Archjananun implemented this idea into a completely another level.

“Weight” is a kind of vases which consist of two awesome parts: water container that is made of concrete and the airy steel that holds the rest of the flower up.

I am completely in love with the following vase. To be precise, these vases create an interesting image of 5 objects standing upright with no base. They look exceptionally unusual and will be the main focal point of any interior. To put it short, the illusion is created by a thin metal base, which can be placed under any tablecloth, so all your guests will think that your vases are floating.
