The Fin Vase is made of laser cut Japanese Lime plywood that is then sanded and polished by hand with natural beeswax. The piece looks cool and nice, and it is composed of ten curved pieces, two rings.

The test tube’s inner dimensions are roughly 15mm in diameter and 160mm long so it will easily hold wide range of flowers. It comes in a Flat Packables’ original gift box with an instruction!

Japanese designer and director of beets inc., tried his best and presents two new projects at tent london during london design week 2011.

Just one look at the project and you do understand how simple everything great is. According to the author, his works explore the theme of ‘seeking new balance’ in materials, techniques and forms.

I am especially in love with his ‘flower vase’ and I would love to have one at home.

According to the author, he takes inspiration from the game ‘Bou-Toshi’, and created a series of awesome vases made of sand and resin.

The game of Bou-Toshi is rather simple. Players make a heap of sand and place a pole in the centre and then they start removing sand and the one who causes the pole to fall, is the one who loses.

Despite the fact the game seems to be rather primitive but it has been played for centuries. So Yukihiro Kaneuchi is the one who made the game immortal and turned it into the series of vases.

The vase looks rather fragile and at the same time very solid, its simplicity is striking. I would love to have such a thing at home and put my garden flowers there!

From my mind, the main idea behind this vase is to show to the rest of the world that the idea of giving flowers to a person is often a sign of love and devotion, so that sounds great to display the flowers in a holder like the Flower Pump Vase.

It goes without saying that from scientific and biological points of view this vase can be a bit whimsical, it is still has some air of reality. The following vase was created by Veneri Design Studio.
