Most ads and news-papers treat a self-watering container as nostrum. But frankly speaking it is not. Manufacturers claim that your plants will be watered with this amazing item for 2 weeks. But I must ensure you that it depends on your plant and place where you put it.

It goes without saying, that all self-watering containers are easy to fill, wash and they look great, but I doubt that they can have enough water for your plant to drink for a couple of weeks. Not more than one week.
